As your Public School Board Trustee my focus will be ensuring all questions and concerns regarding public school in Calgary are communicated to the Calgary Board of Education and/or Alberta Government while providing clear and tangible outcomes.

On ensuring public education funding:

I will collaborate with fellow Trustees, Alberta Education and community stakeholders to protect and build our public education system.

On class sizes and resourcing:

I will advocate for policies that put the wellbeing of students first. By engaging in transparent and open dialogue with students, parents, school councils and all other members of the community I will communicate with the government to ensure the needs of CBE are met and fully understood.

On making sure that all neighbourhoods have access to public education:

I hope to provide more transparency on how education is funded in Alberta and encourage a dialogue with our provincial government about increasing the resources allocated towards our public education system.
